William Saliba Returns to Arsenal's Champions League Squad

Arsenal have received the news they badly wanted before Europe returns: William Saliba is in.

The French centre-back, who has not played a minute this season because of a recurring back problem, has been named in Arsenal’s 22-man Champions League squad, confirmed on Thursday. For a club still carrying the scars of last May’s final defeat, it feels like a jolt of optimism.

Defensive reshuffle and new faces
