PSV have been bullying most of the Eredivisie for a while now. Europe is where the real questions begin.

The Turkish side just suffered a league setback, losing to Besiktas at the weekend, yet they did enough to get through Lyon in the playoff round. Their squad screams ambition: Mason Greenwood offers width, Nathan Ake anchors the back line, and Ederson stands in goal. Up front, Romelu Lukaku waits as a powerful option at striker.
Roma’s threat is more defined. Donyell Malen is the reference point, the Dutch international leading the line. Paulo Dybala, the long-time heartbeat of the side, still knits attacks together, while teenage Portuguese talent Rodrigo Mora adds an unpredictable edge. Under Gian Piero Gasperini, Roma have flown out of the blocks in Serie A, perfect so far.
The cauldron of Istanbul should give Fenerbahce enough to avoid defeat. Roma, though, look the more complete team right now. The balance points to a share of the spoils.

The team news is a concern. Marcus Rashford is a doubt after limping off against Everton. Manuel Ugarte and Amad Diallo are among those unavailable. Benjamin Sesko could be handed a start up front. The summer business brought in Carlos Baleba from Brighton, Andrey Santos from Chelsea, and Youri Tielemans from Aston Villa, adding energy and versatility to midfield.

Bodo/Glimt won’t be overawed and can test Bayern. The Germans, though, should have too much quality over 90 minutes.

Slavia Praha vs RC Lens: A First Win in Sight

Slavia are not at full strength. Lukas Provod, David Zima, and Tomas Holes are all missing. Even so, they will feel this is their chance.
Lens lean heavily on Florian Thauvin, their standout attacking midfielder and chief creator. If he finds pockets of space, he can tilt the game. But away from home, with form wobbling, Lens look vulnerable.
Slavia’s crowd will demand a response to last year’s disappointment. This fixture gives them a realistic shot at that elusive first win.

Como vs RB Leipzig: A Scenic Debut with Serious Ambition
Champions League nights don’t usually come with this kind of backdrop. Como host RB Leipzig by the lake, but the romance of the setting masks a very serious football project.
Leipzig arrive with mixed early results in the Bundesliga and a familiar model: develop elite talent, sell for big money, repeat. Como, under Cesc Fabregas, operate from a similar playbook, but they are still at the beginning of their European story. This is their first ever Champions League match.
Fabregas has talent everywhere you look. In the No. 10 role, 22-year-old Nico Paz is already being talked about as a natural heir to Lionel Messi for Argentina. On one wing, Croatian international Martin Baturina brings creativity; on the other, Senegal’s Assane Diao adds power and direct running. Moise Kean offers a focal point up front.
Leipzig’s preferred XI features Morocco international Neil El Aynaoui and Norway’s Antonio Nusa out wide, with former Argentina defender Martin Demichelis in the dugout. They will be without Romulo and Christoph Baumgartner, while ex-Chelsea forward Marc Guiu is a new attacking option.
