John Mousinho Furious Over Incident Involving Krystian Bielik

Portsmouth head coach John Mousinho has revealed he was “absolutely furious” about the position he found himself in after an incident involving Krystian Bielik and a supporter during Saturday’s win over Cardiff City.

Late in the second half, with tension already rising, Cardiff defender Bielik went to collect the ball from the stands. What followed turned the focus away from the football. He explained that, as the incident unfolded, his own view from the touchline was blocked.

“When the altercation kicked off I couldn’t see it from where I was myself,” he said. “The referee then spoke to us and his words at the time were very clear that he had seen the incident in its entirety.

“He said that as Krystian went over to get the ball, the fan slapped him, and a second fan threw a ball at Perry Ng’s head.”
