Spalletti’s side are expected not just to win, but to convince. First home league fixture, new signings to showcase, questions already circling about their attacking edge – it all funnels into this 90 minutes under the lights.
The absence of Yildiz and McKennie forces tactical tweaks, but it does not change the bottom line. Juventus still have the deeper squad, the stronger bench, and the advantage of playing in front of their own supporters. Anything less than control, intensity and a clear attacking plan will be treated as a missed opportunity.
