Endrick's Anticipated Return for Real Madrid vs Inter Milan

Real Madrid are ready to open the door for Endrick’s official return – and it could come on one of the biggest stages of all.

The Brazilian forward, finally back from injury, is in line to feature on Tuesday (8) when Real Madrid host Inter Milan in the 2026/27 Champions League at 4 p.m. Even then, his role will be tightly controlled.

“He may be ready to play 5 minutes, 10 at most. He trained with the team for the first time yesterday and hasn't played since Budapest. He isn't fit for more (minutes),” said the Real Madrid coach, underlining both caution and expectation around the 20-year-old.

Endrick has been out since that night in Budapest, a layoff long enough to stall his momentum just as he was starting to settle in Europe. Now, the return comes in a squad stacked with attacking stars and a coach who knows exactly where he wants to use him.

With a hint of irony, the coach dismissed any wild tactical experiments.

“He will play in attack. I guarantee he won't play at left-back or center-back. (He can play) on the right or the left, (as a) 9 or 10,” he said, making it clear Endrick’s future lies where the goals are.
