Edo Queens Prepare for WAFU B Clash Against Ampem Darkoa Ladies

Edo Queens head coach Kennedy Boboye has vowed to go full strength in their final group clash with Ghanaian champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies at the WAFU B Women’s Champions League.

His side may already have one foot in the semi-finals after winning their opening two games, but there will be no easing off.

“We don’t have any player to rest; it’s only one of our defenders who was ruled out of the tournament due to a head injury,” Boboye said ahead of the matchday three encounter.

That single enforced absence aside, the message from the bench is clear: everyone is on duty.

Boboye stressed that every member of the squad is prepared to step in and fight for the badge, insisting, “All the players in the squad will come out and play when needed, and they will surely give their all to the team.”

With a ticket to the 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League on the line for the eventual tournament winners, Edo Queens are treating every minute in WAFU B as part of a bigger chase.
