Meanwhile, Paraguay and Australia played to a scoreless draw, both moving forward with Australia as group runner-up and Paraguay holding third place, awaiting confirmation if they progress as one of the best third-place teams.

The U.S. fell to Türkiye due to defensive lapses that haunted them throughout the match. Kaan Ayhan’s stoppage-time goal ended Türkiye’s tournament run on a high note but left the U.S. still sitting atop the group.

The Paraguay-Australia match was a tactical battle with few chances. Paraguay’s Mauricio fired the first shot easily handled by Australian goalkeeper Beach. Australia responded immediately but couldn’t convert their opportunities.
