World Cup Day 14 Preview: Canada and South Korea Aim to Progress; Brazil Faces Scotland in Group C Clash

The 2026 World Cup heads into the last set of group stage games for Groups A, B, and C. Four matches will kick off simultaneously, with much at stake for many teams as they fight for a spot in the Round of 32.

Mexico is the only team already secured in the next round on this day, making other games critical for advancement. Canada, one of the hosts, shares the top of Group B with Switzerland and looks to secure their position. Meanwhile, South Korea can join Mexico in advancing with a win. Group C remains tightly contested between Brazil, Morocco, and Scotland, all still capable of moving forward depending on results.

Switzerland vs. Canada

When: June 24, 3 p.m. ET

Where: Vancouver

TV: Fox

Odds: Switzerland (+130), Canada (+240), Draw (+200)

Canada holds the edge in Group B due to goal difference over Switzerland. A victory or draw would see Canada finish as group winners, playing their Round of 32 match at home in Vancouver. Losing could push them to second place, meaning a knockout game in Los Angeles. Switzerland has drawn against Qatar and defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina in earlier matches.

Bosnia and Herzegovina vs. Qatar

When: June 24, 3 p.m. ET

Where: Seattle

TV: FS1

Odds: Bosnia (-270), Qatar (+650), Draw (+420)

This match involves the bottom two teams in Group B, both desperate to keep hopes alive. Only one will survive after this game. Both squads have yet to claim a win, with draws and losses in their first two outings. Key players Tarik Muharemović (Bosnia) and Homam El Amin and Assim Madibo (Qatar) are suspended due to red cards.

Scotland vs. Brazil

When: June 24, 6 p.m. ET

Where: Miami

TV: Fox

Odds: Brazil (-280), Scotland (+410), Draw (+410)

Scotland faces a tough challenge as they have never beaten Brazil in 10 previous encounters, losing eight and drawing twice. Both teams are well placed to advance. Brazil leads Group C with four points and a +3 goal difference, while Scotland follows closely with three points, above Haiti’s zero. Neymar might return from injury for Brazil, though Raphinha could miss out.

Morocco vs. Haiti

When: June 24, 6 p.m. ET

Where: Atlanta

TV: FS1

Odds: Morocco (-600), Haiti (+1600), Draw (+600)

Haiti, already out of contention, closes their World Cup run against Morocco, who are likely advancing but hope to surpass Brazil for the top of Group C. Morocco impressed in 2022 by reaching the semifinals, beating Scotland and drawing with Brazil this time around to position themselves for another knockout round.

South Africa vs. South Korea

When: June 24, 9 p.m. ET

Where: Guadalupe, Mexico

TV: FS1

Odds: South Korea (-145), South Africa (+420), Draw (+270)

With Mexico already through, South Korea aims to join them in the Round of 32. South Africa has scored just once and has drawn and lost so far. South Korea needs a win here but even a draw might suffice due to a tiebreaker advantage over Czechia.

Czechia vs. Mexico

When: June 24, 9 p.m. ET

Where: Mexico City

TV: Fox

Odds: Mexico (-110), Czechia (+270), Draw (+280)

Czechia must win and hope South Korea slips up to keep their chances alive. Mexico is already qualified and looks to finish group play undefeated at home. Czechia hasn’t advanced past the group stage since 1982, whereas Mexico has done so in eight of their last nine World Cups.
