Osman Foyo Moves from AFC Wimbledon to Rhode Island FC

AFC Wimbledon striker Osman Foyo has officially transferred to Rhode Island FC, a club competing in the USL Championship. The 21-year-old forward spent the past year and a half with Wimbledon, initially arriving from Ipswich Town in January 2025.

During his time at AFC Wimbledon, Foyo appeared 15 times in total. He featured in six matches during the campaign when Wimbledon clinched promotion to League One. Following that, he added nine more appearances last season. In addition to his league duties, Foyo was loaned to National League side Sutton United, where he found the net twice over ten games.

The move to Rhode Island FC marks a new chapter for Foyo as he leaves English football behind for a chance in the American league. His experience in League One and the National League will bring some added depth to his new team.
