Zeidane Inoussa Set for Loan Move to Portsmouth

Swansea City winger Zeidane Inoussa is set to swap South Wales for the south coast, with a loan move to Championship rivals Portsmouth lined up for the rest of the season.

The 24-year-old arrived at Swansea only last summer from Swedish side BK Hacken for a significant fee, billed as a long-term wide option and tied down on a contract running to 2030. His first year in English football never really caught fire. Injuries disrupted his rhythm, and he finished the campaign with just one goal in 29 appearances.

Now the landscape at Swansea has shifted. The club have reshaped their attacking options, bringing in Moussa Yeo and Joseph Opoku, while Manchester City youngster Jeremy Monga is on the verge of joining. With fresh pace and competition in the wide areas, Swansea are prepared to let Inoussa leave in search of regular minutes.

Portsmouth, newly promoted and looking to sharpen their edge at Championship level, are ready to give him that platform. The move also reopens a link between the clubs after Florian Bianchini’s underwhelming loan spell at Fratton Park last season.
