Transfer Rumors: Haaland’s Final Two Options; Real Madrid Targets Premier League Star
Erling Haaland is reportedly down to two destinations if he leaves Manchester City: Real Madrid or Barcelona, according to El Nacional. With interest sweeping across Europe, these two clubs stand out as his top choices.
Benjamin Šeško has caught the attention of both Juventus and Barcelona, prompting Manchester United to set an asking price of €75 million ($84.4 million), which is below what they initially paid just over a year ago, per TuttoJuve.
Micky van de Ven is attracting interest from both Manchester United and Liverpool, but Tottenham Hotspur remains firmly against selling him, reports Fichajes. Football Insider adds that any January transfer for Van de Ven is unlikely despite the Premier League interest.
Chelsea have received the go-ahead from Xabi Alonso to pursue a €120 million ($135 million) offer for Barcelona's Fermín López (El Nacional). Meanwhile, Liverpool have made Brentford fullback Michael Kayode a defensive priority for next year, though competition exists from Arsenal and Tottenham (CaughtOffside).
Chelsea also consider signing Barcelona's sidelined right back Jules Koundé in January (El Desmarque). Both Liverpool and Chelsea are interested in Nottingham Forest's powerful center back Murillo (Football Insider).
Juventus keep tabs on Mateo Kovačić, whose future at Manchester City is uncertain (Tuttosport). They are also monitoring Liverpool center back Giovanni Leoni as he recovers from an ACL injury (Gazzetta dello Sport).
Tottenham have unexpectedly shown interest in Bayern Munich defender Kim Min-jae, who no longer holds a guaranteed starting spot (Football Insider). Meanwhile, Athletic Club may have to sell Nico Williams due to his hefty salary demands, drawing attention from Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal (El Nacional).
Crystal Palace plans to put forward Jean-Philippe Mateta for transfer in January, with AC Milan and several Saudi Pro League clubs interested in the French international (Football Insider).
La Liga Transfer Speculations
Alex Scott, Bournemouth’s promising English midfielder, now finds himself on Real Madrid's radar alongside interest from Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool. The south coast club may demand upwards of £75 million ($99.3 million) to part ways with the 23-year-old (TEAMtalk).
Jarell Quansah, formerly with Liverpool and currently at Bayer Leverkusen, has also attracted Real Madrid’s attention. Liverpool included a €70 million ($78.8 million) buyback clause valid until 2025 when they transferred him (BILD).
Kenan Yıldız of Juventus is another Real Madrid target but would cost more than €100 million ($112.6 million). Arsenal and Bayern Munich are also scouting the Turkish winger (Fichajes).
Atlético Madrid surprisingly express interest in Barcelona’s academy standout Marc Bernal (El Nacional). Meanwhile, Barcelona may need to pay €80 million ($90.1 million) to Sporting CP for defender Iván Fresneda, their preferred replacement for Jules Koundé (Fichajes).
