Transfer Updates: Iliman Ndiaye Eyes Surprise Move, Bournemouth Nears Silva Signing

Al-Hilal has reportedly initiated talks with Everton regarding a potential move for Iliman Ndiaye this summer. Ndiaye, 26, joined Everton from Marseille in 2024 and has appeared 71 times for the club, scoring 17 goals and providing three assists.

The Senegal international's future has been a topic of speculation, with Manchester United also showing interest. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Ndiaye is open to the transfer, but an agreement on the fee between the two clubs remains uncertain. Al-Hilal seems keen to bolster their squad after securing Crysencio Summerville from West Ham United.

Bournemouth Approaching Deal for Antonio Silva

Bournemouth are reportedly close to signing 22-year-old centre-back Antonio Silva from Benfica. Initially seen as favorites for Silva's signature, the Cherries have faced slow progress recently. However, reports from Record suggest that only minor details stand between the clubs before an official announcement.

Silva is expected to play in Benfica’s Europa League qualifier against St Gallen, likely his last game before moving. With 182 appearances for Benfica and 20 caps for Portugal, Silva was once hailed as one of the top young defenders worldwide but has struggled to maintain peak form over the last few seasons.

Newcastle Keeps Eye on Goalkeeper Lukas Hornicek

Newcastle United is monitoring 24-year-old goalkeeper Lukas Hornicek, who played 55 matches for Braga last season. Despite interest, the Magpies have yet to submit an official offer. Hornicek has a £30 million release clause and declined a move to Hull City during this transfer window.

The Czech keeper, standing 6ft 6in tall, could be brought in to replace or compete for the starting spot as Nick Pope remains linked with a transfer away from St James’ Park.
