Transfer Deadline Day: Summer 2026 Closing Dates for Premier League and Major Leagues
The summer transfer window across Europe is heading towards a busy finish. After a World Cup, transfers often come with extra attention, and some of the biggest clubs have been very active this season.
Real Madrid made headlines by signing Ivory Coast winger Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig for €140 million ($161 million). Meanwhile, Morgan Rogers and Elliot Anderson became the priciest English players ever with their moves to Chelsea and Manchester City respectively.

Saudi Pro League Transfer Window
The Saudi Pro League transfer window remains open longer than Europe’s main leagues, ending on October 12. Although their spending has slowed down compared to previous seasons, the extended window gives players who missed out in Europe another chance to move.
MLS Transfer Window Status
The MLS secondary transfer window runs from July 13 to September 2, extended to better align with the global football calendar.
