Ruben Amorim Changes Lineup for Lazio Clash

Ruben Amorim has torn up his original plan on the day of the game.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Milan coach has opted to leave Yunus Musah on the bench for the Serie A clash away to Lazio, handing the midfield keys to Adrien Rabiot and pushing Ruben Loftus-Cheek into a more advanced role.

Musah had been widely tipped to start alongside Luka Modric in a two-man engine room. That partnership will have to wait. Rabiot steps into central midfield instead, with Loftus-Cheek moved higher up the pitch as an attacking midfielder, tasked with driving Milan between the lines.

The rest of the XI stays untouched. On the left, Pervis Estupinan keeps his place as wing-back, while Samuel Chukwueze returns on the opposite flank to offer pace and width.

Italy youngster Alphadjo Cissé joins Loftus-Cheek as the other attacking midfielder behind lone striker Gonçalo Ramos, who once again leads the line for the Rossoneri.

Christian Pulisic starts on the bench for the second game running, but Amorim has already promised the USMNT winger will finally see his first minutes of the season in Rome.
