RB Leipzig Pursue Matias Fernandez-Pardo with €32–33 Million Offer
RB Leipzig are moving hard for Matias Fernandez-Pardo as the transfer window ticks into its final days.
Sky Germany report that the Bundesliga side have already reached an agreement on personal terms with the Belgium international, clearing a major hurdle in the deal.
The next step is on the table. Leipzig are understood to have submitted an offer worth around €32–33 million, a package that includes what are described as realistic bonuses to convince Lille to sell the 21-year-old forward.
It’s not their only late move. Leipzig are also closing in on a loan deal for Christopher Nkunku from AC Milan, aiming to land both attacking options before the window shuts and reshape Marco Rose’s front line in one hit.
Fernandez-Pardo has produced 12 goals and 11 assists in 71 appearances for Lille, steady numbers for a young striker still finding his ceiling. Leipzig clearly believe that ceiling is higher.
If they get this double deal over the line, the attack in Saxony will look very different by the time the window closes.
