The Canada international has endured a difficult spell in Turin since arriving on a free transfer from Lille OSC last year. He never truly imposed himself under Luciano Spalletti, and the Juventus coach is now ready to move him on, with the club prepared to listen to offers.

That has opened the door for Paris FC.

Liam Rosenior’s side have already seen significant change up front. Willem Geubbels was sold earlier in the window and replaced by Lassine Sinayoko, a move that initially looked like it would complete their attacking business. Then came the shock.

Ciro Immobile, expected to go again for at least one more season, stood in the Paris FC dressing room last month and announced his imminent retirement. The club lost not just a goalscorer, but a reference point for the entire attack.
