He also knows Liverpool are still learning Iraola’s demands, still working out their patterns, still adjusting to life without Salah and Robertson. That uncertainty offers an opening.

Liverpool arrive with intrigue and questions. Newcastle arrive with upheaval and opportunity. For both, this is a test of how quickly a new idea can take root.
