Liverpool Sign Bradley Barcola on Long-Term Deal

Liverpool have completed the signing of Bradley Barcola, with the French forward committing to a long-term contract after finalising his move at the AXA Training Centre.

The 21-year-old, who will wear the No.29 shirt, passed his medical before sealing the transfer and wasted no time outlining the scale of his ambition.

"It's a great pride to be able to play for Liverpool. I'm very happy," he told Liverpoolfc.com. "It took a long time but I'm really happy today to be able to play for Liverpool and all I want is to be on the pitch and be able to play.

"I hope to achieve very big things. First of all, winning the Premier League – it's one of my biggest dreams in my life.

"It is to do that and to stay in this team in the long term – that's why I signed a long contract – and I hope I can do it."

A Champions League winner arrives

Liverpool are not just signing potential. They are bringing in a forward already hardened by the demands of elite competition.

Barcola joins from PSG after a three-year spell in Paris that delivered both numbers and medals. Across 152 appearances, he scored 39 goals and provided 35 assists, operating across every position in the front line.

During that time he helped PSG secure back-to-back Champions League titles and three consecutive Ligue 1 crowns, stacking up major honours at Parc des Princes while growing into one of Europe’s most versatile attacking threats.

From Lyon prospect to international regular

His rise began at Olympique Lyonnais, where he made his senior debut in November 2021. The step up did not faze him. Barcola went on to register seven goals and 11 assists in 47 games for Lyon, form that earned him his move to PSG in August 2023.

The trajectory has been just as sharp with France.

Since making his international debut in June 2024, Barcola has already collected 28 caps and scored six times for his country. Three of those goals came at this summer’s World Cup, where he featured in every match of France’s run to a fourth-placed finish.

Now he brings that big-tournament experience, that Champions League pedigree and that clear hunger for a Premier League title to Anfield — with the No.29 on his back and a long-term future in red in his sights.
