Liverpool Delay Move for Bradley Barcola as PSG Demand High Fee

Liverpool have hit the brakes on their move for Bradley Barcola, with talks with Paris Saint-Germain now on hold as the two clubs remain miles apart on price, according to L'Équipe.

The 23-year-old France international has been marked out at Anfield as the priority attacking signing. Liverpool want him. Barcola is open to the switch. PSG, though, want around £145 million – a figure the Premier League side are flatly refusing to touch.

Barcola, formerly of Lyon, is not inclined to extend his contract at the Parc des Princes and would welcome a move to Merseyside. The stalemate is financial, not personal.
