Juventus Pursue Kolo Muani Reunion Amid Attack Overhaul

Juventus are tearing up their forward line and starting again. At the heart of the rebuild, one name keeps circling back to Turin: Randal Kolo Muani.

Multiple sources in Italy report that the Frenchman is open to returning to the Allianz Stadium this summer, and Juventus have kept the lines to Paris open. Talks with PSG are ongoing, even as the Bianconeri move in parallel for Alexander Sorloth.

Total reset in attack

The need is obvious. Dusan Vlahovic is set to walk away on a free when his contract expires on June 30, leaving a sizeable gap through the middle. Lois Openda and Jonathan David, both signed with high expectations, failed to convince in their first season in Turin. Their output and impact never truly matched the investment, and Juventus are now ready to listen to offers for both.

The message from the club is clear: nobody up front is untouchable, and the attack will look very different by the time the new season starts.

Sorloth deal advanced, Kolo Muani talks alive

On one front, Juventus have already moved decisively. They are in advanced talks with Atletico Madrid for Sorloth and have reached an agreement with the Norway international on personal terms. The framework is there; now it is about closing with his club.

But the story does not end with the towering striker. According to Romeo Agresti of Sky Sport and Tuttosport, Juventus are also pushing to bring Kolo Muani back to Turin after his productive half-season spell in 2024-25.

PSG’s stance is firm on the numbers. Tuttosport report that the Ligue 1 champions value Kolo Muani at around €35m. Juventus, operating under tighter financial parameters, are drawing a line closer to €30m.

That gap is where the negotiation lives.

Loan formula on the table

There is room for creativity. With Kolo Muani under contract in Paris until June 2028, PSG can afford to structure a deal over time. The French club are expected to consider a loan with an obligation to buy, linked to conditions that are almost guaranteed to be met.

It would allow Juventus to spread the cost, while giving PSG clarity on an exit for a player who no longer fits.

Kolo Muani is clearly not part of Luis Enrique’s plans, and PSG are not preparing a new deal for the former Tottenham loanee. For them, this is about recovering value and clearing space. For Juventus, it is about seizing an opportunity in a tight market.

A proven fit in Turin

Kolo Muani already knows what it means to wear black and white. In the second half of the 2024-25 season, he struck ten goals in 22 appearances for Juventus, settling quickly into the rhythm of Serie A and the demands of the club.

That spell changed the conversation around him in Turin. He offered mobility, depth in his runs, and a direct threat that the attack had often lacked. Those months were enough to convince the Bianconeri hierarchy that he can be a central piece of the next cycle.

Crucially, the feeling appears mutual. Reports indicate that Kolo Muani is eager to return to the Allianz Stadium, even without the lure of Champions League football in 2026-27. That kind of commitment, in a market where many players chase only the biggest stage, carries weight in a dressing room under reconstruction.

Now it comes down to numbers, timing and nerve. Juventus know what Kolo Muani can give them. PSG know they have a sale to make. Between the two, a forward’s future – and a major piece of Juve’s new attacking puzzle – hangs in the balance.
