Franco Mastantuono's Stunning Hat-Trick on Fiorentina Debut

Franco Mastantuono needed only one night in Serie A to announce himself.

On his Fiorentina debut, on loan from Real Madrid, the young forward tore Venezia apart with a stunning hat-trick in a wild matchday four clash that had the visitors 4-2 up in Venice.

For half an hour he was just having a good game. Then, in the space of 96 seconds, he turned it into something unforgettable.

Venezia had struck first, the home crowd roaring as Fiorentina briefly wobbled. The response came from “Mastan” on the right side of the Viola attack, where he repeatedly found space and, crucially, the confidence to use it.

In the 29th minute, he collected the ball wide on the right, drifted infield and unleashed a left-footed strike from outside the box that flew past the Venezia goalkeeper. Shock in the stands, belief on the Fiorentina bench.

Before Venezia could reset, he did it again.

Barely a minute later, almost from the same channel, Mastantuono received another ball on the right, again trusted his left foot from distance and again beat the keeper from outside the area. Two near-identical goals. Two ruthless finishes. A complete turnaround on the scoreboard and a sense that something special was unfolding.

The hat-trick had to wait until the closing stages, but it came with style.

With Fiorentina already in control after the break, Mastantuono capped his night in the 84th minute with a piece of individual brilliance inside the six-yard box. He danced past the Venezia goalkeeper, kept his composure in the chaos and slid the ball home for 1-4, sealing his treble and underlining a dream debut.

Four minutes later, in the 88th minute, his work was done. He left the pitch to make way for a substitute, his three-goal statement already echoing around Serie A.

Real Madrid loan or not, Fiorentina may have found their new sensation.
