Fenerbahce Signs Romelu Lukaku as Statement Signing
Fenerbahce have made their boldest move of the summer, officially unveiling Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku after striking a deal with Napoli.

The Istanbul giants kept the numbers behind the transfer out of the spotlight, but French outlet Foot Mercato valued the move at around 6 million euros, with performance-related bonuses and incentives potentially pushing that figure higher. At 33, Lukaku leaves Napoli on a permanent basis after two seasons in Italy that delivered an Italian league title. He now swaps Serie A for the Super Lig, trading Naples for Kadikoy and stepping into a league where the expectation will be instant impact.
