Premier League Loan Offers Present Endrick a Path to Redeem His Form
Endrick, the Brazilian forward at Real Madrid, looks likely to be loaned out again this season. Aston Villa, fresh off their Europa League triumph, are leading candidates to secure his services on loan.
The 20-year-old has struggled to secure regular minutes since joining Madrid in summer 2024 amid high expectations as one of South America's most promising talents. He found limited opportunities under managers Carlo Ancelotti and Xabi Alonso.
Midway through the 2025–26 season, Endrick was loaned to Lyon where he made a strong impression, scoring eight goals and providing eight assists in 21 appearances. His performances earned him a place in Ancelotti’s Brazil squad for the 2026 World Cup. After the tournament, he returned early to Real Madrid's preseason aiming to impress new coach José Mourinho. Yet it seems his immediate future lies elsewhere.
Competition at Madrid Limits Endrick’s Chances
Real Madrid reinforced their attacking options this season by bringing in backup striker Carlos Espí and talented winger Yan Diomande. This makes it tougher for Endrick to find playing time either as a central striker or in wider positions, roles he took up more frequently at Lyon.
Mourinho has emphasized a streamlined squad approach, saying he wants "a small squad, 20 players plus those who are currently injured," signaling potential departures like Endrick before the September 1 transfer deadline.
Interest from England, Italy, and Spain
According to AS, both Aston Villa and Serie A side AS Roma have shown interest in taking Endrick on loan following his solid spell in France. Madrid views him as an important investment they want to protect from losing value.
The club is reportedly open to subsidizing part of Endrick’s salary, which exceeds €5 million ($5.75 million) annually, to facilitate a loan move.
SPORT identifies Aston Villa as the "most probable" destination. Meanwhile, several La Liga clubs including Real Sociedad, Villarreal, and Real Betis have also expressed interest. Endrick himself desires to compete in European tournaments.

Still just 20, Endrick has experienced three different managers at Madrid and went from being a highly touted prospect to a peripheral figure within two years.
The Bernabéu has quickly shifted focus to younger talent like Diomande, who is a year younger and seen as the club’s new hope.
Endrick once drew comparisons to Vinícius Júnior, Karim Benzema, and even Pelé. His transfer fee approached €60 million ($69 million), but his stock dropped after struggling to settle. However, his time in France revealed glimpses of his potential.
Known for explosive speed, a low center of gravity, and clinical finishing, he stood out during his early days at Palmeiras, prompting Madrid’s hefty investment. Adjusting to one of the world’s biggest clubs has been challenging, though that doesn’t mean he has failed.
The Lyon loan displayed a dynamic forward able to operate both centrally and on the right wing.

What kind of club would suit him? Given his qualities, I’d love him to come to Arsenal.”
