On the same programme, Jota Jordi and José Álvarez stopped short of fully endorsing the exact condition. They didn’t confirm every detail. But they did point to something just as important: Atlético’s stance on a future sale is no longer absolute. The club that once said “no way” now seems to be saying “not yet.”
From tension to recognition
That softening hasn’t come out of nowhere. It follows several fraught weeks between player and club after the window shut.
