Anderson Talisca Leaves Fenerbahce for Al-Jazira
Anderson Talisca’s brief spell at Fenerbahce is over almost as quickly as it began – and his next move is already mapped out.
The Turkish giants confirmed on X that they have terminated the Brazilian’s contract by mutual agreement, drawing a line under a stint that began only in the mid-season window of the 2024-2025 campaign. The club thanked Talisca publicly and sent him on his way with well-wishes for the next chapter of his career.
That chapter is set to unfold in the UAE.
According to Transfermarkt, citing journalist Resat Can Ozbudak, Talisca has reached an agreement to join Al-Jazira. The move would reunite him with fellow Brazilian Malcom, the former Al-Hilal forward, in what promises to be one of the most eye-catching attacking partnerships in the Gulf.
Ozbudak reports that Al-Jazira have offered a two-year deal with an option for a third season. Talisca is expected to earn just over €10 million per year, a figure that underlines how highly he is still valued in the region after his time at Al-Nassr.
The deal now sits in its final phase. Talisca must complete his medical and sign the paperwork. Once that’s done, another big-name Brazilian will be lighting up the UAE Pro League.
