Amankwah Forson Joins Hapoel Be'er Sheva on Loan
Amankwah Forson has left Norwich City for a season-long loan spell with Israeli club Hapoel Be'er Sheva, handing the Ghana international a fresh stage in European competition.
The 23-year-old only arrived at Carrow Road earlier this year, signing a four-year deal in 2024 after moving from Austrian side RB Salzburg. He has since become a regular option in the Canaries’ midfield, clocking up 44 appearances in all competitions and scoring four goals.
Now he steps into a new challenge with one of Israel’s most established clubs. Hapoel Be'er Sheva, six-time champions of Israel, have qualified for the league phase of this season’s Europa League, where they will meet Juventus, AFC Bournemouth and Besiktas.
For Forson, it is a loan that brings the promise of high-level European nights and the chance to test himself against heavyweight opposition, while Norwich watch on as one of their key young assets gains experience on a bigger stage.
