Top 10 Assist Leaders in Europe’s Major Leagues for 2026-27 Season: Gordon, Gakpo Shine
Last season, Bruno Fernandes topped the assists chart in Europe’s top leagues, but this year’s race is already shaping up with some fresh names making an impact. The Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1 all have representatives among the leading assist providers so far this season.
This list only counts assists from league matches. If players share the same number of assists, the one with fewer minutes played ranks higher due to a better assist ratio.
10. Evanilson – 3 Assists
Evanilson has tripled his assists compared to last Premier League season but is yet to score himself. His assists came against Manchester City, Everton, and Brentford, despite Bournemouth still searching for their first win.
9. Cody Gakpo – 3 Assists
All three of Cody Gakpo's assists for Liverpool have been for Alexander Isak, including two in a single match versus Ipswich. His performance defied expectations after summer doubts about his future.

Anthony Gordon has made an immediate impact after moving from Newcastle to Barcelona. He assisted within two minutes of his debut appearance and added a second shortly after. Subsequent assists against Rayo Vallecano and Valencia put him on pace to surpass his career-best 10 assists from 2023-24.
