Santos to Partner with Adidas as Official Kit Supplier from 2028 Season
Santos Futebol Clube has announced a new, long-term partnership with Adidas to become their official kit manufacturer beginning with the 2028 season. This marks the end of their relationship with Umbro, who have supplied kits since 2018 and remain contracted through 2027. The move aims to boost commercial income and broaden the club's presence in international retail markets.
Adidas Confirms Reunion with Santos
The German sportswear giant confirmed the deal on Thursday evening, stating that this will be the third time Adidas outfits the Vila Belmiro side. Their statement read: "Santos Futebol Clube and adidas have reached an agreement for the supply of sporting goods starting in the 2028 season."
Expanding Adidas' Presence in Brazilian Football
Bringing Santos into their portfolio strengthens Adidas' footprint within Brazil’s top league, the Brasileirao. Alongside clubs like Flamengo, Cruzeiro, and Internacional, Santos will wear Adidas kits for matches, training sessions, and lifestyle collections. The club’s global appeal is fueled by legendary figures such as Pelé and current stars Neymar and Philippe Coutinho.
