Following the publication of their marriage certificate by Jornal de Notícias, it was confirmed that both Ronaldo and Rodríguez will keep their original surnames after marriage. Previous rumors suggested the wedding would take place at Funchal Cathedral in Madeira, Ronaldo’s birthplace, but those claims turned out to be false.
The couple opted instead for a low-key celebration with their children. They have since returned to Saudi Arabia where Ronaldo is preparing for another season with Al Nassr.
