Everyone knows him obviously,” Kerkez said. “After just two or three sessions, you can already see his quality and potential to improve a lot. He can be a really good player.”
Kerkez added, “Really fast, good dribbler, so I think he’s going to help us a lot.”

“For us, especially as defenders, we want clean sheets and the target is you don’t want them to score,” Kerkez said. “We worked to correct those things this week, so I think it should get better.”“We had meetings, we had video analysis for the defenders always. Obviously, we don’t want to come back from behind – we want to start winning from the beginning.”

Liverpool prepared thoroughly for their game against newly promoted Ipswich Town, who have one win and one loss under coach Gary O’Neil. Kerkez confirmed that the staff examined every opponent player and tactical detail.
“I think obviously we’re analysing everything, so we will know what to expect from every player, from the tactics,” Kerkez said. “Every game we do, we come really prepared.”
