The tour still has two stops left – Leeds in Ireland on Wednesday, AC Milan in Wroclaw next Saturday – and those games were shaping up as Mount’s final audition to lock down his place for Hull. Now, his involvement in those fixtures hangs on the outcome of scans and assessments over the next few days.
