Juventus Join Arsenal in Pursuit of Manchester City's John Stones
After signing Zeki Celik on a free transfer, Juventus are targeting another defensive addition. Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Turin club has made initial moves to acquire John Stones, the seasoned England international currently at Manchester City.
The club has contacted Stones' representatives to gauge the feasibility of a deal and aims to outpace other suitors monitoring the 32-year-old defender's status.
Stones' Experience Draws Interest
Stones stands out as one of the most experienced defenders of his generation. His tenure at Manchester City has been marked by numerous domestic and international trophies. Additionally, he has been a consistent choice for the England national team and recently impressed during the World Cup under coach Thomas Tuchel.
Besides Juventus, Inter Milan has also shown interest. Several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, have followed Stones' situation closely. So far, no firm offers have been presented.
