Knockaert Labels Pedro Ungrateful

After the match, Pedro responded calmly, saying his celebration was not meant to insult Brighton but was simply part of his routine. He told BBC Sport, "I just celebrate, it could be any fans, any team. I just want to do my celebration." He emphasized the joy of scoring rather than sending a message to anyone in particular.

Pedro also highlighted the team's progress under Alonso, mentioning the need for more consistency and praising goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez's performance. "Step by step, we will achieve our level," he added.

Pedro has impressed early this season with two goals and two assists in his first two league games. Former Premier League striker Darren Bent, commenting on the Chelsea vs Brighton match for Sky Sports, praised Pedro's technical skill, especially during the build-up to Chelsea’s third goal involving Morgan Rogers and Jorrel Hato.

Bent said, "Really good finish. Rogers was at the heart of it, he starts it, then it’s Hato with a really good run."
