SAN FRANCISCO — The World Cup watch party at Thrive City was supposed to belong to Portugal. It ended up belonging to IShowSpeed.
What started as a routine public viewing outside Chase Center on Thursday morphed into a live, pulsing internet event as word spread that the YouTube star had dropped in to watch Cristiano Ronaldo and company.
