French Media Criticize PSG Players After Monaco Loss
After another frustrating outing in Ligue 1, PSG received tough player ratings from the French press. The Parisians fell 2-1 to Monaco on Friday, extending their winless run early in the season.
Player Ratings Reflect Disappointment
The scores handed out by L'Equipe highlight the media’s harsh view of the team's performance. Goalkeeper Matvey Safonov earned a particularly low rating, alongside defenders Pacho and Vitinha, as well as midfielder Joao Neves.
Others like Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Warren Zaire-Emery, Fabian Ruiz, and Desire Doue also failed to impress much. The only players to gain some praise were Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Magnes Akliouche.
Since most starters played for the club last season, greater cohesion was expected by now, but the current displays suggest plenty of room for improvement. Despite these struggles, there is no panic at PSG as they aim to peak later in the campaign.
