This will be the second time the Estadio Metropolitano hosts a Champions League final, having previously held the 2019 final where Liverpool defeated Tottenham 2-0. Since 2017, it has served as the home stadium for Atlético de Madrid. Situated in the Rosas neighborhood of Madrid, it is part of Spain's capital city.
Madrid will host its sixth European Cup final, with only London having hosted more. The Estadio Santiago Bernabéu hosted finals in 1957, 1969, 1980, and 2010.
