Important Dates for the 2026-27 Women's Football Season
The 2026-27 women's football season is underway, with Champions League qualifying rounds already in progress alongside the Women's Africa Cup of Nations. The FA Cup's preliminary rounds begin later this month, and the Women’s Super League (WSL) and Women’s Super League 2 (WSL2) kick off their league campaigns in early September. The Subway Players Cup, often called the League Cup, starts in September as well. Full FA Cup rounds will commence at the end of October. Five international breaks are scheduled before the 2027 Women’s World Cup, set for June and July in Brazil.
